등산장비중에서 딱 골라잡아 구매하기가 아리까리한 장비중 하나가 바로 슬리핑백(침낭)이 아닐까 싶습니다. 다른장비들에 비해 가격또한 고가이다보니 한번살때 제대로 된 제품을 사야되겠는데 도무지 어떤놈을 골라야할지 난감 또 난감...ㅠㅠ

 

브랜드도 다양하고 제품마다 다 특징적이고, 겉감이 방수가 되면 좋을것 같기도하고 아닌것 같기도하고, 흔히들 다운의 함량을 가지고 많이 들어간것이 최고라고 하는 사람도 있고, 그것이 아니라 다운함량보다는 양질의 다운이 적절한 비율의 깃털과 솜털의 조합으로 들어가 있는지가 더 중요하다고 하는 사람두 있구..(에고 머리아퍼..ㅠㅠ)

 

내한온도가 빵빵한 침낭을 살까??, 아님 내한온도는 좀 떨어지더라도 무게와 팩킹부피가 가벼워 휴대성이 좋은 침낭을 살까 ??? 

 

이런 고민 너나 나나 할것없이 침낭을 구매하는 사람은 누구나 다 한번씩 합니다만, 딱 떨어진 정답은 없고, 내맘에 드는 제품이 제일 좋은 제품이라고 말하면 너무 무책임한 소리같긴 하지만 사실 고말이 맞는 말이 아닐까 싶기도 합니다. 20년된 낡은 미군용 헤비급 오리털침낭을 오토캠핑에 사용하면서 애지중지 너무나 고맙고 유용하게 사용하는 사람도 본적이 있으니까요..^^

 

본인의 주관적인 생각으로는 침낭을 동계용으로만 하나 살경우는 가급적 내한온도가 높은 빵빵한 침낭을 사는것이 좋을듯한데요, 너무 더우면 어떻하냐고요 ???  으구..농담두....아무리 빵빵한 침낭이라도 겨울산에서 추워서 못자는 법은 있어두 절대루 더워서 못자는 법은 없으니까 걱정 놓으시길....(다만 너무 빵빵하면 팩킹부피와 무게때문에 부담스럽지만...) 

 

여유가 된다면 다음순서대로 차례차례 3 가지 종류를 구입하면 딱 입니다.(돈만 많다면..^^.. 암튼, 비박을 하다보면 침낭 딱 하나만 가지고 버티기는 도저히 어렵구요, 적어두 겨울용과 3계절용으로 2개정도는 꼭 필요)

 

1. 한겨울 산꼭대기서 무쟈게 추울때 사용할 최고의 내한온도를 가진 빵빵한 침낭

2. 3계절용으로 대략 영하의 날씨에도 춥지않게 잘 수 있는 최고로 가볍고 쬐그맣해서 휴대성좋은 침낭. 

3. 늦가을(초겨울)이나 이른봄(막마지 겨울) 영하/영상을 넘나드는 날씨 야영용으로 적당히 빵빵하면서 적당히 휴대하기도 부담없는 침낭 

 

다운제품은 어짜피 한번사면 오랫동안 사용할 수 있으니까 왠만하면 처음살때 아예  좀 비싸더라도 좋은것으로 사는 것이 좋다는것이 본인의 생각인데, 뭐 사람마다 생각이 다 다를 수 있습니다.

 

 

발란드레의 신형 블라디메리 침낭. 여유가 있어 차례차례 3종류의 침낭을 살수있으면 바로 3번째 카테고리에 해당되는 침낭이 아닌가 싶은데요. (이미 빵빵한 침낭은 있고, 아무때나 가지고 다닐 가벼운 침낭도 있고, 무쟈게 가볍지는 않지만 왠만하면 휴대하기 부담스럽지않고, 무쟈게 따듯하지는 않지만 왠만한 추위정도는 막아줄 수 있는 그런 없어도 그만이지만 있으면 참 편리한 카테고리의 침낭..) 

 

블라디메리침낭은 출시되자마자 단번에 독일의 아웃도어페어에서 여러 걸출한 침낭들을 제치고 올해 최고의 침낭제품으로 선정될만큼 인기있는 슬리핑백 입니다. (오랫동안 베스트셀러였던 라파얏트와 거의 동등한 스펙을 가지고 있기때문에 라파얏트의 포지숀을 상당부분 대신할 것 같은 느낌인데, 글쎄요?? 라파얏트는 앞부분으로 하프지퍼가 달려있는 반면 블라디메리는 사이드 풀 지퍼가 장착되어 있습니다.)

 

특징은 목부분의 보온을 위한 우모필러가 2개 달려있어, 추우면 목부분을 완전히 커버하는 보조필러을 부착하여 사용하고, 쬐금 추우면 목 윗부분만을 커버하는 필러를 붙여사용하고, 그냥 적당하면 목보조필러를 모조리 제거하고 사용할 수 있는 옵션기능이 추가되었구요, 보조필러는 침낭안쪽 주머니에 보관할 수 있게 되어있습니다.

 

 

현재 우리나라의 환율이 유럽의 유로환율대비 너무 약세이기 때문에 국내판매가격은 어떻게 책정될지 모르겠지만, 현지가격은 400유로(현재환율 1800원 720,000원)로 쇼킹블루보다 약 100유로 정도 싸지만 라파얏트보다는 약 80유로 정도 비싼 가격 레인지의 제품 입니다. (2006년에 본인이 작성하였던 토르침낭에 대한 사용기에 보니까 당시 유로대비 원화환율은 1300원 이였는데, 그때도 환율이 높다고 불만을 썼더군요. 지금 생각하면 참으로 격세지감이 느껴집니다.)

 

무게는 미디움사이즈의 경우 1000그램을 살짝 오버하는정도이며, 팩킹부피는 7리터로, 아주 가벼운 미라지 침낭의 무게 700그램과 팩킹부피 4.5리터와 비교하면 영하 18도의 내한온도를 가진 침낭으로서는 매우 매력적인 무게와 팩킹부피라고 할 수 있습니다. (실제 일반 레져용 도이터에어컴포트 25리터 짜리 배낭에도 쏙 들어갑니다.)

 

발란드레 침낭을 구매할때는 자신에게 맞는 적정사이즈를 골라 사야되는데, 키가 170이상이면 미디움 사이즈가 좋겠다는것이 본인 생각이구요, 침낭은 딱 맞아야한다고 주장하는 사람들이 많은데..글쎄요..침낭이 너무 딱맞으면 괜히 갑갑하지않나요 ??

At the heart of the Bloody Mary is an interchangeable collar system. Three different levels of thermal protection are a zipper pull away. When the temperature is dropping fast, zip in the heaviest of the collars and feel the snug warmth that is sealed in the main body section. Meanwhile, the hood envelopes your head with a perfect layer of insulation. As conditions lighten, zip out the heavy collar and put in the mid-weight collar. This collar rests gently on you neck, providing some ventilation while holding most of your warmth in the bag. And finally, as summer is in full swing, don’t get a lighter bag, just leave the collars at home, open the main zipper for full ventilation, and "Et voila"! Extremely flexible comfort.

 

If the collar system is the heart of the Bloody Mary, the French Fat Grey Goose down is the muscle. Valandré only uses down from the French Fat Grey Goose, a bird capable of migrating at 30,000 feet (10.000m) in -60°F (-50°C) temperatures for days on end. The down is harvested right before the traditional migration time, when it is fresh, clean and at its plumpest. Then, Valandré selects only the lightest down and fills each compartment with just the right amount.

 

The foundation that all of Valandré's sleeping bags are built on is our Tubular Bell construction method.
